FML. I am stressed out.
So yeah. I know a lot of you like this book and I tried to start it today, but I could not get into it. Maybe I’m just a little tired, or maybe its really not a good book.
Greyhound stations are havens for the destitute and drunk.
I only saw two arrests today.

I trudged to Spokane very early this morning after texting my boss and telling him that I was sick. He was cool with it and I suspect he knows that I am in Spokane for a job interview.
Hoped to have a nice relaxing morning before the interview but randomly ran into my friend Brian who runs Eastern Washington Progressive Voters. Of course he tried to recruit me to do free work. But we had a nice breakfast together.
I then searched downtown for free wi-fi. Ok can I say fuck you starbucks. Really I have to pay for wi-fi. Of course I didn’t but I got about three more pages of a paper written for a final. Yay for being productive.
Ok here’s where things got wierd. I went to the lunch interview. I have already had the main interview, but this was with two other women. Both of them are alpha females and quite frankly had too much energy for me today. I am overcaffeineted and feel like crashing, but I;m a little shaky.
Here’s how the conversation went. So tell us about your experience. Me: told them my experience. Them: we are concerned that you have never worked at a daycare center before and therefore don’t understand our issues. Me: My mom works at a daycare. I understand that you lack sufficient subsidies, that you want higher wages and benefits, that you are looking to collectively bargain with the state. Them: Oh shit I forgot to send xy and z email to ab and c. Oh there’s a health expo that we’ll be at. You’ll have to work that. Me; That’s fine. Them: Ok and we need someone who when she says she’ll do something, she’ll actually do it. Me: I’m the person for the job. Them: Ok and when can you move here. Me: ASAP. Them: Good cause you’ll have training in seattle and have to get x amount of members by x date. Me: I can do that. Them: Ok nice meeting you we will be in touch.
So that’s not exactly how it went, but it sums it up. They are high energy women who think that there union organizing effort is the most difficult one. More difficult than those in the past. I kind of want the job, but I am kind of afraid that if I do get it, they will want me to move in like a week! I know it can be done. I just don’t know if I am ready. I don’t know and I’m kind of freaking out.
Finally found free wi-fi at a coffee shop downtown, after looking forever. Heading back home in 2 hours. Two hours to waste…what to do? I guess I will freak out about what is happening and then probably not be offered the job and the freaking out about my life changing in the way it may was all for not.
Fuck.
And its really damn cold here today.

Yeah I kind of agree. We should stop feeding it. Who knows what was going on in his personal life. Besides, name on famous athlete who has not cheated. Try, its pretty hard. These athletes have opportunities we cannot even imagine. So he might have cheated. Many do, his is just more public.
